You’re nearly 3 months old and I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone by!
It feels like only yesterday you couldn’t lift your head and would only sleep on my chest! Now you hold your head up and hardly ever fall asleep on my chest because your too busy being nosey and looking around to see what’s going on.
Your so inquisitive, you look at everything around you but you always look to see if I’m close by (which I love). I don’t want you to grow up to quickly and you could stay like this forever – please!
As I write this your sleeping and I can’t help but sit here staring at you. I thought I would be able to get so much done while you slept but it turns out I just want to stare at you and think about how much I love you! How did me and daddy make such a beautiful baby?! Your super cute when you sleep and so peaceful. I wonder what kind of person you will be, you are already showing some of your personality and we cannot wait for you to show us more.
Today I managed to get to the gym, eat breakfast and you have had two good naps (longer than 20mins) and it’s not even 2pm! It’s a good day today. I wanted to change the bedsheets an clean the bathroom, but that might have to wait if you wake up soon. Who knew being a mummy was so time consuming? I must admit I did think I would be able to get a lot more done while being a mummy, but I have accepted that I can only get so much done because I want to cherish every moment you are awake. I want to talk to you and show you new things to help you learn about the world around you.
I think your going to be super smart and strong – you are already trying to walk, crawl and sit up by yourself even though your head is still a bit wobbley! You love doing sit ups with mummy and your super talkative in the mornings, but I would love it if you slept a bit longer in the nights because I’m tired all the time!
Don’t worry mummy will always wake up to comfort you, but could you maybe sleep through the night once a week so mummy can catch up on her sleep?!
