Home workout – legs and glutes

So as promised here is a workout that I did yesterday at home. I completed it as a circuit and did 20 reps of each exercise and 4 rounds.

I’m not going to lie it’s been a struggle to try and fit it in around a newborn who wants to feed every two hours, but I’m determined to make sure I’m working out!

If baby is crying and I need to settle her in between a round my rest time might be a bit longer than normal, but that’s something I have to accept. The main goal achieved is that I’m working out and with some weight which is an added bonus. lol

This is just a small workout due to the fact I didn’t know how my body would respond and if it would feel okay with the movements – luckily for me my body seemed fine and handled the movements well. This is encouraging and makes me want to get back in the gym ASAP!

Legs Circuit:

  1. Sumo squats
  2. Kettle bell sumo high pull
  3. Straight leg deadlifts with a row
  4. Resistance band adductor
